When there is a type of food you are really craving, try some of these upgraded ideas. You can totally satisfy your craving, enjoy the food, and skip the feeling like crap after.
Chocolate:
- Organic cacao bar made of 75% or more cacao
- Rau vitality drink (only in SD I think)
- Raw cacao powder hot chocolate
- Chocolate Smoothie (Vega, MRM Veggie)
- Avocado/chocolate pudding
- Blackbean brownies
Sweets:
- Paleo cookies (see recipes)
- Dates and nut butter
- Smoothie – quality protein powder, berries, nut butter, avocado
- Baked Bananas
- Goji berries
- Mulberries – Nativas brand
Crunchy/Salty:
- Crunchy veggies – carrots, celery, cucumbers, sugar snap peas
- Nuts and Seeds
- Mary’s Gone Crackers – gluten free crackers, pretzels
- Kale or Plantain Chips- home-made or store bought
- Beanitos or Lundberg Chips
- Seaweed Snacks

- Smoothie made thick, pudding like (just use less liquid)

TIP: I love to add “paleo” in front of any recipes or snack idea I want. When you add “paleo”, you will get recipes without processed sugar, gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and other processed ingredients.
